RPI5 16GB + Ubuntu 25.04 + AI hat 8L (python 3.13.5)

I know that you don’t have support yet but the Hailort driver did work when I initially installed it and then broke during one of the updates.

Error 1: “[HailoRT] [error] CHECK failed - Driver version (4.22.0) is different from library version (5.0.0)” Q1: How can I manually set the libraries to v4.22? Where can I get the hailo module to import or is it only available via API?

Error 2: Is 10h a new AI hat or will HailortRT v5.0.0 be backward compatible with 8L?

Hey @Michael_Michael!

Just to clarify - the Hailo10H is actually a brand new chip (not a HAT or anything specifically for RPi). It does work with version 5.0.0.

For the Hailo8L though, you’ll want to stick with 4.22 for both the driver and hailort library.

Hope that helps clear things up!
