I have tried to swap the board only - without any SW-change … but the application doesn’t run anymore.
So my general question: Do I have to reinstall the Hailo SW when using another type of board?
Or which files (content / Parameters) have to be adopted when switching?
As my 13Tops Board (and SW) is running pretty fine (after a hard period of installion attempts) , I would prefer to minimize time and efforts …!
Any hint is appreciated - thanks!

Welcome to the Hailo Community!
That should not be necessary. An application developed for Hailo-8L should run with a Hailo-8. You may see the following warning.
[HailoRT] [warning] HEF was compiled for Hailo8L device, while the device itself is Hailo8. This will result in lower performance.
HEF files compiled for Hailo-8 will not run on the Hailo-8L.
When you swapped the Hailo device, confirm the hardware is connected properly by running lspci
first and then hailortcli fw-control identify
.
