Quetion：Can Hailo-8 Accelerate Speech and Intent Recognition Tasks?

Hi everyone,

I understand that Hailo devices are capable of compiling deep learning models, but so far, I have only come across success stories related to visual neural networks. Specifically, I am focusing on tasks like speech recognition and intent recognition. Can the Hailo-8 hardware provide significant performance improvements for these types of use cases?

Hi Bito,
So far we’ve been focusing on vision based tasks, so you would mostly find models that corresponds to this in our model-zoo. But, the NNcore is quite capabale and there is a good change that non-vision models would be also supported.

Beyond the above mentioned, we are working on expanding the support for generative AI models.
