Hailo driver not found, on restart hailo 8 not being detected

I’m using Hailo 8 in my Intel NUC and it was working fine, but suddenly drivers stopped being detected, then tried installing hailort and hailort pcie drivers, system suggested a reboot to make the installation successful, but upon reboot hailo 8 itself stopped being detected.

I removed and connected the chip again, now hailo started getting detected as per the lspci command, had the same driver issues, tried installing again, system suggested reboot, did that, and faced the same issue, that now hailo 8 is not being detected at all.

what could be a fix for it

Hey @Utsav_Sharma ,

Is this issue still persisting?

No.

Actually it was a hardware issue only, the chip was getting loose and the connection with the M2 slot was getting compromised. When we opened the NUC box and refitted the Hailo chip it started getting detected but probably the connection got loose and we had the issue.

Upon hit and trial we fixed a cardboard patch to support the chip inside the minipc, and the issue was resolved and now its working fine.
