Ubuntu 22.04 installation not working

Hi folks,

Im attempting to install hailoRT alongside the relevant drivers from the developer zone found here:

https://hailo.ai/developer-zone/software-downloads/

Im running a local (dualboot) of Ubuntu 22.04 with the following hardware specs:

Intel Core i7-13800H
NVIDIA RTX-4070 Laptop GPU

Hailo 8 Processor Connected through an Envoy express thunderbolt 4 adapter.

I keep running into a failure to install the pcie driver, In another post mentioned here:

It was mentioned that a specific kernel version is required in order to install the pcie driver, and since im not certain if this is actually the case, this is my kernel specifications

0 : menuentry 'Ubuntu, with Linux 6.8.0-48-generic' --class ubuntu
1 : menuentry 'Ubuntu, with Linux 6.8.0-48-generic (recovery mode)'
2 : menuentry 'Ubuntu, with Linux 6.8.0-40-generic' --class ubuntu
3 : menuentry 'Ubuntu, with Linux 6.8.0-40-generic (recovery mode)'

Is there a clearer installation guide perhaps? i followed the installation guide from the website step by step and keep running into the same error.

Cheers, and looking forward to hearing back,

Hey @_yonatan

Welcome to the Hailo Community!

What version of the driver and the HailoRT are you trying to install?
4.18 doesn’t support 6.8 kernel version only 6.5 and under , in 4.19 version this issue is solved
