Configuration M2A vs M2B - Hailo-8 M.2 Key M ET 2242

Hi everyone!

We have received another “Hailo-8™ M.2 Key M ET 2242”. It is of a different configuration than our previous module (new: M2B, previous: M2A) and we have not been able to get the new one (M2B) to be detected by our system.

Is there a difference regarding the interface or does anybody have an idea what we might be missing?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Hailo Community!

The difference between the configurations are mainly mechanical and some miniscule power difference because the module uses alternative components.

There are no differences regarding the interface. The modules comply with the M.2 interface standard. You should be able to detect them without installing any custom drivers running lspci.

You can check dmesg to see if there are any issues.

Thank you for your support!

We tested the module on a PC and it was working.

Seems like we have an issue with our system.
