Timeline for hailo-h10-all apt update to 5.3.0 / hailo-apps update?

Hello,

I’m running a Pi 5 with a Hailo-10H (Trixie). Currently on h10-hailort / h10-hailort-pcie-driver 5.2.0 — installed manually at some point outside apt, since apt-cache policy shows the Raspberry Pi repo (archive.raspberrypi.com) only offers hailo-h10-all / h10-hailort / h10-hailort-pcie-driver up to 5.1.1.

HailoRT 5.3.0 has been out since early April. Two questions:

  1. Any timeline for when the h10-/hailo-h10-all packages in Raspberry Pi’s apt repo will catch up to 5.3.0 (or even 5.2.0, since that’s already a manual-only step right now)?

  2. Separately, any update planned for the hailo-apps repo itself to track 5.3.0? (Currently on v26.03.1, and config.yaml already lists 5.3.0 as a valid HailoRT version, so presumably support is coming.)

Trying to figure out whether to wait for apt or keep doing manual installs in the meantime. Thanks.

Hello @Sam_Nicholls ,
Look at Using hailort-pcie-driver_5.3.0_all.deb with kernel > 6.15 (trixie) . It may be help using Hailo-10H in 5.3 with the debian package from Hailo. It works fine for me.
I also wait for a correct version (with a suggestion in the post).
