I recently purchased a Raspberry Pi 5 with the Hailo AI Kit. I carefully have installed the AI M.2 HAT and tightened all the screws. I installed Bookworm on the SD card and managed to boot up the system and started installing libraries and other things I needed such as picamera2. But suddenly now when booting up the Pi, it will start and I will see an orange LED glowing solid orange and not blinking on the M.2 HAT, it is to the left of the hat below where the cable is connecting the HAT to the Pi board. The Pi’s green LED also glows solid when this happens. It happened once during bootup and I waited for a little bit and then the lights stopped glowing and then I was able to connect and work on the Pi. But then after a little bit the lights started glowing solid again and the SSH session became unresponsive. I can’t seem to find anywhere on the web what a solid glowing orange LED indicates on the AI M.2 hat. Or how to troubleshoot the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hey @arun,
Are you still experiencing this issue?
It seems to be a boot-related problem. Could you confirm if the Hailo driver is properly installed?
Also, please double-check that the PCIe cable is securely connected. Let me know!
I have the same issue as described.
Also tried clean install few times but didn’t help.
