RPI 5, Ubuntu 25.10 , PCIe Driver 5.1.1 new installation

I am starting a fresh install RPi 5, Ubuntu Desktop 25.10, and Hailo8. My goal is to integrate with Frigate. I noticed there is a new PCIe driver 5.1.1. I will compile that driver, are there any issues I may run into using that driver with Hailo8? I noticed PCIe driver has Manual Setup instructions state to download., “Before installation need to download the Hailo-10H firmware.” Will this be an issue for my Hailo8 device? Should I just stick with PCIe 4.23 version?

Short answer yes.

Hailo-8 and Hailo-8L are supported by HailoRT versions 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x, depending on the package.
Hailo-10 is supported only by HailoRT version 5.x.

Note that only one HailoRT version can be installed on a system at any given time. Installing HailoRT PCIe driver version 5.x will automatically remove version 4.x, and vice versa.

Thank you for your response. I have successfully compiled. Hailo8, the Hailo Driver and HailoRT on Ubuntu Desktop 25.10. I am waiting on a new camera module to commence playing with it.
