Possible to plug the Pi AI Hat into a different board?

Hi,

I would potentially like to use the hailo10h on the pi ai hat with a different host machine. I want to adapt the ribbon cable to a M.2 connection, and plug it into a different host.

Is this possible?

Beyond the connector, what are the differences between the hailo10h board that comes as an m.2 card. and the pi hat?

There are different memory configurations and form factors available. We also offer Hailo-10H M.2 2280 Starter Kits, where the M.2 module includes an INA device for measuring power consumption.

It may be possible to use the Open-HAT-PCIe

if you want to attach a Pi AI HAT to a PCIe slot on a PC motherboard. You would need to also run +5V and Ground to the AI HAT, maybe from a SATA power cable in the PC.

I ordered five of the Open HAT PCIe boards from PCBWay, I should have them in 3 or 4 days. I paid about $75 for the 5. I don’t know for certain that this will work, but confidence is high.

Je pense que Thomas_Hepworth utilise comme moi un boîtier pironman 5 et veux utiliser un double nvme

Mais au.lieu de.mettre un ssd et module AI en M2 il veux mettre un ssd et utiliser sa carte AI HAT 13 TOPS ou AI HAT + 26Tops ou AI HAT +2 40Tops en externe avec une connexion sur le second port M2 un peu ce genre lĂ  :slight_smile:

Helas ce genre de carte n’existe pas avec d’un côté un port M2 et de l’autre un port PCIE sur limande 16 point au pas de 0.5 mm (afin de pouvoir adapter une carte Hat en externe sur un boîtier pironman 5. En ayant aussi la possibilité d’avoir un SSD en même temps

Une solution serais d’utiliser cela avec votre carte adaptation mais ça complique les choses pour rien
