Has the software development for the Hailo H10/ RPI5 AI Hat +2 stalled? Noticed Hailo was consistently doing quarterly updates but nothing was posted for July. Been waiting patiently for bigger generative AI models.

The development for Hailo-10 is still active. The next update is currently expected at the end of this month.

There’s actually some activation on the hailo repos at github for 5.4.0. E.g. Release v5.4.0 · hailo-ai/hailort-drivers · GitHub but there are still some other repos missing and the deb-packages in the dev zoe are not yet updated.

The Hailo AI Software Suite 2026-08 for Hailo-10, along with all individual packages for version 5.4.0, has been released and is now available for download from the Developer Zone.

Thanks @Klaus_Koschinsky - however when running this command on the RPI it still says ‘Candidate: 5.1.1’

When will that be updated to feature the latest version?

As a consumer user, I can only use version Hailo v5.1.1 via Raspberry Pi Update.
@Stefan_Schulte : You can download the packages from https://hailo.ai/developer-zone/software-downloads/?product=ai_accelerators&device=hailo_10h after registration (which can be done by everyone). Make sure you have the correct packages for your architecture and remove the packages which are installed from the official repositories because they conflict.
The git-repositories don’t have the new code yet (at least not the model_zoo_genai) and the accelerator-integration-tool seems to be still 5.3.0
We are working on streamlining the update process for installations via APT. As the packages involved are maintained and distributed across multiple parties, there are a few things we need to coordinate regarding responsibilities and timing as the process evolves, particularly in light of the transition to Microchip.
In the meantime, as Matthias pointed out, you can replace the APT packages with the latest versions available from the Developer Zone.
Thank you for pointing this out. Most packages for Hailo-10 have been updated to 5.4.0. I will check with my colleagues.
