Is installation on bare metal Debian 12 same as RPi

I have a HP EliteDesk, Debian 12, with Coral TPU in the wifi socket, running Frigate NVR. Before purchase of a Hailo 8L A+E, I would like to know if installation is the same as with a RPi. Without the HAT of course. Software wise.

I have searched all over here, Frigate, and other forums and have found so many ways to get this to work, I am now very confused and seems to be over my head.

Welcome to the community!

Yeah, the installation process hasn’t changed. You’ll need to install the driver on your host PC first (pretty straightforward), and then the Docker container will handle the HailoRT installation automatically.
