Hello,
I have a camera with mipi output or PCIE output. I would like to use the hailo without using linux on the camera. Do you know if it is possible to have mipi drivers or PCIE driver in c ou c++ (bare metal) to inject the video flux to the hailo 8 ?
Thanks for the help

Hi @Arnaud_Salette,
It should be theoretically possible but for time being we don’t offer it from our side.
Thanks,
Michael.
Hello @Michael ,
Thanks for your answer. Do you know if we have a MIPI output camera, can we directly inject it in the MIPI CSI input of the Hailo ? What are the constraints for that MIPI interface ?
Is there a MIPI CSI output to get the data out ?
Thanks for your help

Thanks for the answer.
Actually I have seen that architecture of Hailo 8 the problem is that I am not sure if Hailo 8 proposes 1 MIPI CSI input interface and one MIPI CSI output interface. Indeed, the MIPI TX that is on the image is on the sensor interface side.
Could I get a video pipeline where I use the MIPI CSI input of hailo 8, enter the NN processor of Hailo 8 and output the data to MIPI CSI output of hailo 8 ?
Thanks for the help

Hi @Arnaud_Salette ,
I’ve deleted my previous response and apologize for the confusion.
I want to clarify: Hailo 8 does not support MIPI.
Thanks,
