Hi
I have a bunch of Hailo m.2 (B+M) modules that I would like to put onto a PCIe card and run in a PC. Does anyone know what PCIe card will work with 8x Hailo’s. There are a few NVMe SSD cards on the market but I’m just circling down the rabbit hole when it comes to information and compatibility. Trying to recreate the Hailo Century 208 TOPs PCIe card.
Welcome to the Hailo Community!
Unless your motherboard has (4x 4x 4x 4x) PCIe bifurcation support you will need a PCI card with a PCIe switch. Our Hailo-8 Century card uses a PLX PEX 8747 PCIe switch.
When I searched Amazon in Germany, I found a card that looks identical to my Century card. The description was:
KALEA-INFORMATIQUE PCIe x16 M2 Controller Card for 4 M.2 NVMe M Key SSDs with PLX PEX 8747 Chipset - 32GB for Each SSD, 128G Total
Maybe this helps find the card in an online store in your region.
