Hailo 8 AI+ No Longer Accessible

I’ve had a working Hailo8 AI+ on an RPI5 running for over 6 months. Used for CCTV software Frigate. Worked fine until recently when suddenly, after an OS update it is no longer accessible. I get this output

root@rpi5:~# lspci
0001:00:00.0 PCI bridge: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM2712 PCIe Bridge (rev 30)
0001:01:00.0 Co-processor: Hailo Technologies Ltd. Hailo-8 AI Processor (rev 01)
0002:00:00.0 PCI bridge: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM2712 PCIe Bridge (rev 30)
0002:01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Raspberry Pi Ltd RP1 PCIe 2.0 South Bridge
root@rpi5:~# hailortcli fw-control identify
root@rpi5:~#

A listing of the /dev directory does not show the hailo8

Does anyone have any suggestions for further troubleshooting?
Many thanks

Antony

Hi @user593 ,

I would suggest to begin with re-installing Hailo SW:

https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/ai.html

The last step there is hailortcli fw-control identify - In case this works - The AI HAT+ itself is fully functional.

Thanks,

Thank you
I will try again
