Hailo 10H not working with OpenWrt

Hi everyone,
I’m working with a Hailo-10H on an OpenWRT system, and I’m encountering a “.HEF corrupted” error whenever I run inference (including commands like run2). I’ve already verified the HEF using hash checks, HEF parse, and confirmed my HailoRT and Zoo versions. The same HEF works correctly on my x86 Linux machine, and my Hailo-8L runs fine on the same OpenWRT setup.

Has anyone seen this behavior or knows what might cause it? I’ve attached logs for reference. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @Aravind_R,

The H8L setup appears to be functioning properly, so we can rule out a PCIe issue.

Regarding the run command for H10: this operation is not supported.

The model appears to be corrupted. This could stem from several issues, but let’s start with a basic sanity check. Could you please:

  1. Select any model from the model zoo and run it using run2 to verify that the setup itself is functioning correctly. If that works, it will confirm the HEF file is corrupted.
  2. Run hailortcli parse-hef on the corrupted model to help diagnose the issue.

I have tried both. I used run2 command → HEF corruption output.I have used Hef parse to verify the model. Model is built for Hailo 10H( I have also tested the same models by connecting the Hailo 10 H to a Linux PC and verified the model is fine - Same HailoRT version also ). I have done Hash test to verify its not a broken file.

10H module → in X86 PC → Same Models → Works fine

8L Module → OpenWrt → Same PCIe→ Works fine

10 H Module → OpenWrt → Same PCIe → Hash Error → HEF corrupted

Are all the models running on OpenWrt with the H10 producing this corruption error? If so, could you please share the hailort.log file? That should show me the exact error that occurred during the run. And if it’s just this specific model, could you send it to me so I can take a look?

All the models running on Hailo 10 is giving this same error. tried it with multiple models(Verified the same models in X86 connecting hailo 10 to it ) its the Embedded system that is not working with Hailo 10( while it is working fine with 8L)
