Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I’d like to make a feature request.
With the upcoming release for native python support and picamera2, it would be great if there was a built in function for saving images, I’m sure this would be useful for lot’s of people who want to gather datasets.
Currently it’s a bit tricky to do, especially with my limited knowledge.

never mind @omria, I finally found some time to work on a picamera2 project and it’s working really well, thank you
