Hello I am brand new here so sorry if this seems like an amateur question as this is also my first dive into anything AI.
I have a raspberry pi5 and the Hailo AI kit installed. I see most of the examples and demos are all related to image detection using a camera.
My question is can I train the model to do log analysis on network traffic?
I have searched for similar topics on this forum and can’t seem to find anything I also see they just released the DFC so compile your own data. Is that the path I need to go down to train the model to detect and analyze network traffic?
Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @frostbytesecurity welcome to our community.
We do not have models in our model zoo for analyzing network traffic.
You can compile new model using our DFC. However you will need a specific model. Most of our models are accepting video frame as an input not text or raw bytes. If you are new to AI i think you should aim for another task to start with, what about home video security? (people detection, face recognition etc.)
If you want to run AI to analyze network traffic I would start with running it using CPU from examples online, before trying to compile it to Hailo.
Good luck, I’ll be happy to hear about your endeavours.
