Battery Powered RPI5+Hailo+Camera+YOLO

Do you (or anyone in this forum) have any real world experience running RPI5 + Hailo + Camera + YOLO battery powered?

If so, some questions I have for you:

  • what frame rate did you get?
  • how long one battery charge last running at a reasonable real-time frame rate?
  • what parts do you recommend purchasing? Amazon links would be useful.

I’m not looking for hypotheticals but actually real experience with a running system.

Hi @gwilliams,

I wanted to let you know that Hailo is hosting a hackathon event where many of the participating teams will be working on projects involving battery-powered robots. After the hackathon, we plan to update our GitHub repository with the projects that come out of this event.

I’ll make sure to keep this thread updated with the specific information you’re looking for once we start using the robots in our projects.
